The thrill of balancing on the rising and falling deck of a classic yacht speeding through the waves in the pouring rain or feeling the sun's rays beating down on a bright sandy beach - all with camera in hand – all to get THE photograph that will make it all worthwhile and inspire people to enjoy the coast and everything it has to offer.
The bright colours, marine light and rich maritime heritage of the region are my greatest influences together with the people and generosity of spirit in sharing their nautical lives is everything – when my photographs capture a special moment, that is the reward.
